Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (may be obtained within the first 3 weeks of assignment start)
- Permanent residence must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
