Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Medical Surgical ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures including CRRT, intubations, and line placements
- Utilize Philips monitors and Alaris pumps to monitor and manage critically ill patients
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurse externs and a free-floating charge RN
- Adhere to patient experience standards and unit-specific policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to meet scheduling requirements per contract FTE minimums
- Willingness to float per the needs of the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CRRT, intubation support, and central line placement procedures
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
- Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
