    Travel RN – Neuro ICU (NVICU) | Days

    Location

    Nashville, TN | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Neuro ICU with patient ratios of 2:1, adjustable to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
    • Assist with and support procedures performed on the unit including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and EVD insertions
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
    • Fulfill a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; participate in self-scheduling with manager oversight for balance
    • Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members; be available to float to med/surg as contract labor when staffing needs require
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (must be valid for the state of Tennessee or compact eligibility)
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
    • Ability to wear navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) per dress code policy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with neuro or neurocritical care patient populations
    • Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Experience with CRRT, SLED, EVDs, or EV 1000 monitoring equipment
