    Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7PM–7AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Manage and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
    • Care for patients with diagnoses including heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, GI bleeds, stroke, pneumonia, and post-cardiac arrest
    • Independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips using Spacelabs monitoring system (no telemetry techs on unit)
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, respiratory therapists, CNAs, charge nurses, and administrative supervisors available on-site 24/7
    • Float as needed to telemetry unit or other ICU locations within the health system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in good standing
    • Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Demonstrated ability to titrate critical care drips
    • Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips
    • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for ventilated patients and familiarity with RT equipment including vents, high-flow oxygen, and BiPAP
    • Experience with stroke patients and TPA administration
    • First-time travelers welcome with qualifying ICU experience
