    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: August 17, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide routine and complex nursing care to high-acuity ICU patients, including those who are intubated, sedated, and requiring chest tube management and continuous critical care monitoring.
    • Utilize the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned patients in accordance with professional standards of practice.
    • Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
    • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
    • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
    • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and available resources.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state license.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — American Heart Association (AHA) only.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification — American Heart Association (AHA) only.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care or ICU nursing specialty.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    • Experience managing intubated and sedated patients, including chest tube care and hemodynamic monitoring.
