Travel RN – Adult ICU (3x12s, Nights)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every 4th weekend required | No call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in an 8-bed ICU, including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, stroke, cardiac conditions, and post-operative or post-procedure needs
- Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and manage patients on telemetry monitoring systems
- Manage mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices (BiPAP/CPAP) and high-flow nasal cannula
- Titrate vasoactive drips and administer complex medication regimens within scope of practice
- Collaborate closely with providers, ED staff, and house supervisors in a community hospital environment
- Float to Med/Surg, PCU, and ED as needed; may receive assignments at an alternate affiliated facility based on staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Indiana
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Ability to work independently in a community hospital ICU setting and float across departments as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with sepsis management protocols
- Rapid Response and Code Blue experience
- Prior experience floating to PCU or Med/Surg units
