Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an adult Intensive Care Unit setting during day shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill adult patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Perform stroke-related assessments utilizing NIHSS certification and established clinical guidelines
- Adhere to department guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, and float assignments
- Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- NIHSS certification required
- Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in a large acute care or Level I Trauma Center environment
- Stroke care experience in an ICU setting
