Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely in accordance with facility protocols and passing requirements
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules
• Maintain compliance with all facility orientation requirements, assessments, and ongoing education

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid compact license - must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in ICU or related specialty
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission - no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Must be able to achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (up to 2 attempts permitted)
• No open background case findings or license hits; all background hits are subject to facility review
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience concentrated within a single facility or location
• Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
• Familiarity with online learning management systems for pre-start and annual module completion
