Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competency requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license or active compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification — active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
- AHA ACLS certification — active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU experience required
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the ICU specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU experience gained within a single location preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
- Familiarity with medication safety assessment tools and processes
