Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards
- Deliver compassionate, customer- and family-focused nursing care while maintaining accountability for the quality of nursing services provided
- Define, implement, and continuously improve practice standards and the care environment
- Float to Med Surg on a regular basis as part of the rotating assignment
- Perform IV insertions and provide care to adult patient populations
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota RN License required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care / ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Med Surg and Telemetry training required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with adult patient populations required
- Ability to insert IVs required
- MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for this patient-facing position
- Must live more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume acute care hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to adapt across multiple care units, including ICU and Med Surg
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in fast-paced environments
