Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend and Some Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting across multiple ICU populations
- Monitor and assess patients requiring critical care, including neurological, cardiothoracic, burn, and trauma surgery populations
- Care for IMC, progressive, and general care populations as needed
- Float to other units as required based on facility needs
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to critical telemetry findings
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum of two years of inpatient acute care experience in the ICU specialty within the last three years
- Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms required)
- Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery
- Familiarity with IMC, progressive care, and step-down patient populations
