Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU, Nights (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 27-bed ICU setting with a patient ratio of 2:1 (up to 3–4:1 as needed)
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing interventions
- Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
- Float to Stepdown unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (must be valid for the state of Texas)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of critical care / ICU experience required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with MEDHOST EMR
- Experience floating to Stepdown or similar intermediate care units
- Strong ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced travel assignment environment
