Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00–19:30
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU/CCU setting in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation, order management, and patient data review
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation modules, including UC Learning Center and EpicU training, as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN State License required and must be in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU/CCU nursing experience
- EPIC experience required — must be documented in work history
- All required certifications must be in-hand at time of application
- Two (2) supervisor references required at time of application
- No time-off requests (RTO) within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred; all RTO must be submitted with the initial profile and cannot be modified after submission
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with UC Learning Center (UCLC) modules and EpicU training workflows
- Experience working in a high-acuity critical care environment
