    Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate treatment effectiveness for critically ill patients
    • Perform nursing care associated with life-supporting technology including ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO
    • Perform hemodynamic monitoring and clinically manage patients with multi-system organ failure and/or multisystem trauma
    • Serve as the point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments and for patients' family members or caregivers
    • Administer medications safely and consistently in accordance with state practice standards and applicable policies and procedures
    • Float to PCU, MS/Tele, or ICU patient populations as needed based on unit census and acuity
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license in state of practice or covered by compact licensure
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
    • Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Dysrhythmia exam required prior to start (study guide available)
    • Non-local candidates only; local candidates will not be considered for this position
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with advanced modalities such as IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, Impella, Swan-Ganz catheter, and ECMO
    • Familiarity with high-acuity Neuro, Cardiac, and post-surgical patient populations
    • Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR)
    • CCRN, TNCC, or other relevant critical care certifications
