Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift | 13-Week Assignment | Three 12-hour shifts per week (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 36 hours weekly guaranteed | Every third weekend required | On-call possible once every four weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro/Trauma/Medical ICU setting with acuity-adaptable patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, CRRT, BiPAP, EKOS, and chest tubes
- Care for a diverse patient population including neurological, trauma, medical ICU, stepdown/progressive care, and medical overflow patients
- Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
- Complete assigned computer-based training (CBT) modules as directed by staff education prior to or upon starting
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 3–5 years of critical care experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Demonstrated cardiac rhythm knowledge; must pass facility competency assessment with a score of 90% or higher
- Ability to wear navy blue scrubs and comply with facility dress code standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC or TCAR certification
- Experience in stepdown or progressive care environments
- Familiarity with neuro and trauma patient populations
