Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all applicable state and facility compliance requirements, including AHCA requirements for Florida placements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- AHCA compliance required for Florida placement
- Candidate must have housing secured within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance; hotel accommodations are not considered sufficient
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity or critical care environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing assignments and associated requirements
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and team dynamics
