    Contract | Night Shift (18:30–06:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Minimum of 2 holidays within contract period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed ICU setting with an average daily census of 16, maintaining a 1:2–3 nurse-to-patient ratio for adult patients
    • Manage and titrate a variety of drips including cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation
    • Read, interpret, and document cardiac monitor strips using GE monitoring equipment
    • Care for patients with complex diagnoses including trauma, cardiac conditions, stroke, sepsis, respiratory distress, renal failure, heart failure, overdose/substance abuse, post-stent, pacemaker placement, and vascular cases
    • Manage patients on respiratory support ranging from nasal cannula to mechanical ventilation, including troubleshooting equipment as needed
    • Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed, maintaining comparable patient ratios (1:4 or 1:5)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Ability to titrate drips independently including cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
    • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and documenting cardiac monitor strips
    • Must be available every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
    • Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; compliance is required as a condition of employment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel or contract nursing experience in an ICU setting
    • Experience with GE monitoring systems
    • Familiarity with a broad range of critical care diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, and cardiac interventions
