    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Kansas City, Missouri, 64132!

    Job Title

    Travel RN – Burn ICU (Nights)

    Location

    Kansas City, MO | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide ICU-level nursing care to adult burn patients in a 6-bed Burn ICU with mixed acuity levels ranging from ICU to PCU/Telemetry
    • Perform and assist with unit procedures including debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and post-operative procedural care
    • Operate and monitor equipment including Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitoring systems, and AirStrip for cardiac rhythm interpretation; document in Meditech
    • Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and hemodynamic drip titration; support CRRT as needed
    • Adhere to bedside shift report requirements and uphold patient experience standards centered on courtesy and respect
    • Float to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU) as needed; travel staff may be first to float when required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid for the state of Missouri
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU-level nursing experience
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • TNCC certification required
    • Cardiac rhythm proficiency required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior burn unit or burn ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
    • NIH certification and CRRT training preferred
    • ABLS certification preferred but not required
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred
