    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Jefferson, Louisiana, 70121!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (LTAC Setting)

    Location

    New Orleans, LA | Long-Term Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting with a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
    • Perform and manage special procedures including TPN administration, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter care, and narcotic administration
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and treatment plans
    • Be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team in the event of a declared emergency, as directed by unit management
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Compact or Louisiana RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
    • ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA certifications specifically required)
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    • NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current (within 4 weeks of submission date)
    • Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (based on address on driver's license) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • LTAC experience is not required — first-time travelers to this setting are welcome to apply
    • Block scheduling may be considered
    • Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and complex care needs
