    Travel RN – Critical Care Unit (CCU) | Night Shift

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours/week | Projected Start: July 1, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Critical Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
    • Manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
    • Assist with and support bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system
    • Operate unit equipment including GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
    • Adhere to floating policy; contract labor floats prior to core staff as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in Tennessee (or compact state eligibility)
    • Minimum 1–2 years of critical care experience required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    • Experience with Meditech documentation system required
    • Must meet scheduling requirements: 36 hours/week including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
    • Familiarity with GE monitoring systems, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
    • Experience with cardiovascular procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
