Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill cardiac patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong critical care nursing background
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced ICU environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Cardiac ICU or open heart surgery patient population
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and vasoactive drip management
