Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the CVICU setting
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
Apply professional and supervisory discretion in dynamic, high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care situations
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
Experience with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior acute care facility experience
