Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Care for a patient population that includes Trauma, Cardiovascular, Stroke, and Neurological cases
- Float within scope to the IMC unit as needed to meet facility demands
- Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC
- Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend availability and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (pending license considered)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with strong clinical background; 3+ years preferred
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; exceptions are not typically made for this specialty
- First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of ICU nursing experience
- Experience with Trauma, Cardiovascular, Stroke, or Neurological patient populations
- Familiarity with IMC-level care and ability to float comfortably within scope
