Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Care for a patient population that includes trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neurological cases
- Float to IMC unit as needed to meet facility staffing needs within scope of practice
- Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic health records system
- Participate in weekend scheduling on an every-other-weekend basis
- Expect to work some holidays in accordance with facility scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active or pending RN license (pending license accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with strong clinical background; 3+ years preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
- Must be available for every-other-weekend shifts
- First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of ICU experience with exposure to trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, or neuro patient populations
- Prior experience floating to IMC or step-down units
- Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning compliance and education platforms
