Manage patients with conditions including acute respiratory failure, ARDS, septic shock, pulmonary embolism, esophageal varices, renal failure, and multisystem organ failure. Administer and titrate multiple continuous IV drips including high-dose vasopressors, sedatives, and paralytics; manage neuromuscular blocking agents with nerve stimulation monitoring.
Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill pulmonary and medical patients in a 24-bed ICU with a 1:2 or 1:1 RN-to-patient ratio

Perform and manage arterial lines, central venous lines, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
Administer and titrate multiple continuous IV drips including high-dose vasopressors, sedatives, and paralytics; manage neuromuscular blocking agents with nerve stimulation monitoring
Participate in emergency event management, post-cardiac arrest care, targeted temperature management (TTM), and pronation therapy
Care for organ donor patients including brain death donation and donation after cardiac death
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state license
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Prior travel nursing experience
