    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Float)

    Location

    Greenville, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 13-week assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting at a Level 1 Trauma facility, maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Float across the enterprise central region, including multiple hospital campuses, based on staffing needs
    • Adapt to varying unit assignments including intermediate care (1:4–5 ratio) and general medical-surgical units (1:5–7, up to 1:5–8 in community hospitals) as needed
    • Respond to daily shift assignments communicated by email, with adequate lead time provided before shift start
    • Fulfill expected weekend commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
    • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
    • At least 1 professional reference from entire work history
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience
    • Comfort with floating to multiple hospital campuses and varying acuity levels
    • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment
