    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Travel

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide bedside critical care nursing for a pulmonary critical care population including patients with acute respiratory failure, septic shock, ARDS, multisystem organ failure, and renal failure
    • Manage arterial lines, central venous lines, and invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring
    • Administer and titrate multiple continuous intravenous drips including high-dose vasopressors, sedatives, and paralytics
    • Perform and support emergency event management utilizing ACLS protocols, post cardiac arrest care, and targeted temperature management
    • Assist with or manage continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), pronation therapy, and neuromuscular blocking agents with nerve stimulation monitoring
    • Care for organ donor patients including brain death donation and donation after cardiac death
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
    • Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
    • Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with esophageal varices management including Blakemore tube placement
    • Familiarity with pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary embolism, and advanced airway management
    • Experience caring for COVID-19 patients and managing infectious disease protocols
