    Contract | 8 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12 Hours (08:00–20:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Intermediate Care unit serving adult and geriatric populations
    • Manage a patient ratio of 1:3, including lower acuity overflow Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patients as needed
    • Monitor and care for lower-level ICU patients within the IMC setting
    • Float to the ICU unit as required; candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions
    • Adhere to all unit scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall
    • Maintain compliance with all required certifications including RN MD State License, BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of IMC or ICU-level nursing experience required; first-time travelers with strong IMC/ICU backgrounds will be considered
    • BLS certification – American Heart Association only
    • ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • CPI certification required – The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address); locals are not accepted unless explicitly stated
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an IMC or ICU setting
    • Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations in high-acuity environments
    • Comfort with floating to ICU and Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units as needed
