Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a full-service acute care hospital
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, applying advanced clinical judgment and ICU-specific protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to all facility dress code requirements, including navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days — no hits on state license to practice
- Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- ICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Active driver's license required to verify residency — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience working in a large acute care or non-profit hospital environment
