Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients, ensuring safe and effective respiratory support
- Administer and titrate vasoactive drips in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the facility's EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama RN license or multistate compact license in good standing (no prior NURSYS hits)
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
- Experience with ventilated patients and vasoactive drip management
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills
