Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Nights | 3×12's (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Critical Care Step Down unit with 12 beds
• Manage and monitor patients requiring step-down level critical care nursing
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management
• Rotate every other weekend and holiday as required
• Participate in float assignments as needed within the facility
• Be available for on-call status in the event of low census

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2+ years of Critical Care Step Down experience
• Active Virginia State RN License or valid Compact License
• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• Expected weekly hours: 36 hours/week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU background in addition to Critical Care Step Down experience
• Familiarity with step-down and ICU patient populations
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
