    Job Title

    Travel RN – ICU (Night Shift)

    Location

    Frankfort, Kentucky

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
    • Perform and monitor telemetry, BiPAP/CPAP management, therapeutic phlebotomy, and port access
    • Operate and manage ventilators, Philips telemetry systems, Baxter pumps, and glucometers
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic health records system
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including CNCs, RNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
    • Float as needed to PCU, 3rd floor, or the Emergency Department per unit policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in Kentucky or a valid Compact nursing license in good standing
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be recertified annually)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, and surgical drains
    • Proficiency with central lines, blood transfusions, ventilator management, and post-dialysis assessment
    • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse documentation platform
