    Job Title

    Travel RN – ICU (Nights)

    Location

    Frankfort, Kentucky

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
    • Operate and monitor equipment including Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, ventilators, and glucometers
    • Perform and assist with unit procedures including telemetry monitoring, BiPap management, therapeutic phlebotomy, and paracentesis (physician-led)
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including CNCs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
    • Float as needed to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED per unit floating policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting
    • Active RN license in Kentucky or a valid Compact nursing license in good standing
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be certified annually)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with CPap/BiPap management and port access
    • Proficiency with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, central lines, blood transfusions, ventilators, and post-dialysis assessment
    • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse documentation system
