Key Responsibilities
- Report daily to the House Supervisor for assignment across multiple units including ICU, Emergency Department, and Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics
- Provide direct patient care within areas of competency and experienceFloat to other departments as needed, which may include taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
- Maintain flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as operationally required
- Adhere to facility compliance deadlines, including orientation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience spanning all three specialties: Emergency, Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics, and Intensive Critical Care
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification and Moderate Sedation certification (Moderate Conscious Sedation may be obtained through the facility upon confirmation)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience, particularly returning travelers familiar with float pool environments
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across multiple clinical settings within a single assignment
