Contract | Days | Expected 36 hours/week | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
- Provide intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients experiencing shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions
- Support a mixed ICU patient population including medical, surgical, and cardiac intensive care patients
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- Critical care experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- PALS certification
