Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Alternating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Mississippi
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in critical care
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in critical care environments
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in high-acuity situations
