Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Holiday Rotation | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Participate in holiday rotation and every other weekend scheduling as required
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, consistent with expectations for staff nurses — agency travelers may be floated first
- Document patient care and clinical findings using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November) as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- First-time travelers with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience are welcome to apply
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
