Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Third Weekend Required | 8-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 10-bed ICU setting, including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis
- Manage and stabilize acute stroke patients in coordination with telestroke and teleneurology services at a Primary Stroke Center-certified facility
- Support care for pediatric patients requiring stabilization or early critical illness management as needed
- Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty service teams including cardiac and surgical departments
- Accurately document patient care and clinical assessments using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a community hospital ICU environment
- Familiarity with telestroke or teleneurology workflows
- Experience caring for a diverse patient population including post-surgical and sepsis cases
