    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Float)

    Location

    Exeter, NH | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Third Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 10-bed ICU setting, including cases involving medical emergencies, post-surgical recovery, respiratory failure, and sepsis
    • Manage and stabilize pediatric patients in critical situations pending transfer to tertiary pediatric centers when appropriate
    • Care for acute stroke patients within a Primary Stroke Center–certified facility utilizing tele-stroke and tele-neurology services
    • Float within the ICU as needed to support staffing coverage across the unit
    • Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty service teams to deliver coordinated patient care
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire
    • ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required

    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a community hospital ICU environment
    • Familiarity with float or multi-unit nursing assignments
    • Experience caring for stroke patients in an ICU or step-down setting
