Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit maintaining a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients using cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
- Assist with and support procedures including intubations and central line placement
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs and patient care technicians to deliver high-quality critical care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or Compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with medical ICU and neurological patient populations
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
