    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 7-bed ICU setting, managing adult and geriatric populations with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for higher acuity ICU patients
    • Monitor and manage patients presenting with diagnoses including COPD, CHF, respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, AMI, stroke, overdose, and alcohol withdrawal
    • Operate and manage equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, bedside monitoring, and telemetry systems
    • Document patient care accurately using the Med Host electronic health record system
    • Float to other units or assume on-call status when the ICU is on standby; must be able to report to work within 30 minutes if called in
    • Work rotating weekend shifts as needed and maintain a high level of independent, time-managed practice
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Nevada or through compact licensure
    • Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Proficiency with arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, and BiPAP management
    • Experience with post-cardiac catheterization care, post-surgical care, moderate sedation, chest tube management, and electrolyte management
    • Telemetry interpretation experience
    • Independent, self-motivated, and focused personality with strong time management skills
