    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a General ICU setting managing complex conditions including sepsis, post cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, severe DKA, multi-system organ failure, GI bleed, renal failure, stroke, and CIWA protocol patients
    • Operate and monitor equipment including Spacelabs Telemetry monitors, Lifepack defibrillators, transport monitors, IABP, PA Catheters, and ventilators
    • Utilize Bellmont for MTP as required by patient care needs
    • Float to sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
    • Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
    • Complete all required modules prior to start and during orientation; module completion is non-billable and tracked accordingly
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
    • Former permanent employees of any affiliated Providence facility must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months prior to eligibility
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • TNCC certification preferred
    • Experience with IABP, PA Catheters, and mechanical ventilation in a high-acuity ICU environment
    • Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
