Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, monitoring and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the facility's electronic medical record system
- Maintain ACLS and BLS competencies and adhere to all applicable clinical standards and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Alabama
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records platform
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
