Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to acutely and critically ill patients at high risk for life-threatening health problems
- Perform intensive monitoring, assessments, and clinical interventions in an ICU setting
- Apply advanced nursing knowledge and experience to manage complex, high-acuity patient conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) – Healthcare Provider level required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists moderate complexity testing requirements)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of previous ICU experience preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
