    Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide routine and complex nursing care to high-acuity critical care patients with multiple comorbidities and continuous drip management utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
    • Support recovery of post cardiothoracic surgery patients fresh from the OR, including management of advanced cardiac support devices such as IMPELLA and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump.
    • Operate and monitor therapeutic equipment including Arctic Sun temperature management and TABLO XT/CRRT renal replacement therapy.
    • Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
    • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
    • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided; assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in the state of Texas or a valid compact RN license.
    • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
    • Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Critical Care nursing setting.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with post cardiothoracic surgical recovery, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun, and CRRT/TABLO XT.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    • Previous experience with Epic electronic health records system.
    • Experience managing high-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and complex drip titration.
