    Registered Nurse – ICU (SICU)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
    • Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
    • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet unit operational needs
    • Participate in required orientation assessments, annual competencies, and facility-mandated training modules
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the ICU/SICU specialty
    • Minimum of 18 months of recent SICU experience (travel experience accepted)
    • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications — must be in hand at time of submission
    • Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
    • Must be available to work at least every other holiday
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 18 months of SICU experience obtained within a single facility location
    • Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
    • Familiarity with safe medication administration assessment protocols
