    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting during night shift hours
    • Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
    • Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
    • Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating basis, working at minimum every other holiday
    • Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules as directed
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in ICU/SICU specialty; travel experience in SICU may be considered
    • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
    • Active ACLS certification required
    • Active NIHSS certification required
    • Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 18 months of SICU experience within a single location preferred
    • One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
