Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the ICU
- Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care
- Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization
- Maintain flexibility to changing systems while demonstrating quality and effectiveness in clinical practice
- Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS Certification required
- PALS Certification required (or obtainable within six months of hire)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of two years of documented ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course including didactic and clinical components
- CCRN certification encouraged
