    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with complex problems
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments encompassing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs, and synthesize data to determine priorities of care
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop, update, and evaluate individualized plans of care
    • Perform bedside point-of-care testing and apply healthcare organization standards, policies, and procedures in the delivery of care
    • Assess and anticipate discharge needs of patients and families, consulting appropriate resources for complex care or high-risk discharge situations
    • Participate in unit goal development, performance improvement activities, and cost-effective care initiatives while promoting a safe and secure hospital environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
    • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing
    • Experience caring for patients with complex, critical care needs in an ICU or similar acute care setting
