    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU setting managing diagnoses such as COVID, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, sepsis, and DKA
    • Manage and titrate drips including sedation agents (propofol, versed, fentanyl, precedex), vasopressors (levophed, epinephrine, vasopressin, dopamine, dobutamine), diuretics, insulin, and amiodarone
    • Care for ventilated patients and support use of RT equipment including vents, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
    • Read and interpret telemetry strips independently in coordination with remote monitor technicians
    • Float to PCU and med-surg units within the region as needed; float premium applies when assigned to regional facilities
    • Rotate holiday coverage with permanent staff and work every other weekend
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Experience with ventilated patients, cath lab recovery, and therapeutic hypothermia
    • Ability to independently titrate drips and manage critically ill patients at a 2:1 ICU nurse-to-patient ratio
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
    • Familiarity with PCU and med-surg float environments
    • Experience with centralized scheduling and block or rotating shift structures
